Overview
Created a "Super App" for Chinese language learning, focusing on intermediate learners who need deep practice in listening and speaking.
The Challenge
Existing apps focus on beginners or are too fragmented (separate apps for dictionary, flashcards, media). Intermediate learners lacked feedback on their speaking and a unified learning environment.
The Solution
Developed a cross-platform app using React Native and Expo. Integrated a bilingual reading system with one-touch dictionary lookups. Implemented an AI Shadowing feature using Speech-to-Text to analyze and grade user pronunciation against native speakers.
